Let me introduce myself

I’m Laura Strada, creative director of Strada Interiors. My journey was not built overnight; it is backed by years of training and hands-on experience, combining challenges and triumphs. After studying interior design at the Elisava School in Barcelona, I worked in different prestigious companies in the field of interior design in Barcelona, with the vision of setting up my own interior design studio.

The experience of interacting with clients made me realize that each client had specific needs and that we had to understand how we could help them interpret their dreams in relation to interior design This led me to study coaching and develop my own interior design method. Nowadays, with projects abroad and over 20 projects per year, we continue to help make our clients’ dreams come true with our method.

My origins

Laura Strada

My childhood was spent in a small village where I was born and raised inside the grocery store that my parents managed. During summers and school holidays, I immersed myself in the routine of rearranging the products in the store. My imagination would soar as I created stories with the customers who came to buy, imagining how they would integrate those products into their everyday lives, how they would decorate their kitchens, and how they would feel in their homes.

I remember a teacher who used to tell me that I would become an architect when I grew up, but I wasn’t completely convinced, as I saw architecture as something very technical. I always felt more drawn to the fine arts. It was in the third year of high school when I took an elective course in interior design and immediately knew that it was the path I wanted to pursue. It was as if I had found my true calling one hundred percent.

However, when I expressed my desire to study in Barcelona, my parents had doubts. In a small village like ours, 30 years ago, they were completely unaware of the field of interior design. Interestingly, it was a journalist named Ramon Barnils, who used to spend his summers in our village, who convinced my parents. I am immensely grateful for his intervention, as it changed the course of my life.

Now, with 25 more years, I combine my passion for interior design with my origins in my parents’ store, designing commercial spaces.

Strada Interiors is an interior design studio with over 15 years of experience in carrying out projects and comprehensive renovations of homes and commercial spaces. Our interior design is not about creating beautiful spaces, but about building homes with their own personality,
their own language.

We greatly value the relationship with our clients, recognizing that trust between both parties is essential for the success of any project. For us, it’s not just about designing, but collaborating with you to create a space that truly reflects your expectations and needs.

We don’t have a one-size-fits-all recipe. Each space requires a different approach. I like clean lines, natural materials, chromatic balance, cozy corners… but for me, visual order is the key to bringing serenity. My way of working is to emotionally connect with the project and the people involved.

We understand that psychological and emotional well-being is influenced by the environment. A space that seeks to activate positive responses through light, visual, and olfactory perceptions contributes to living in a healthier and therefore, more wholesome way.

Each space has its own language, and we need to listen to it, observe it, and make the most of it. That’s why, just like we create homes, we also create emotional places.

We take care of the entire process, from start to finish, sticking to the budget as much as possible and making each project unique and special.

We carry out all types of projects and complete or partial home renovations up to the detail of special elements (furniture design) if the project requires it.

We have a large team of multidisciplinary professionals, we are knowledgeable about the latest construction techniques as well as the latest trends in materials.

We have a wide range of furniture and textile accessories brands to dress homes and satisfy your needs.

Our goal is to create a welcoming atmosphere in which the client can feel identified.

What do we offer?

Each of our projects is carried out completely tailored, whether it’s for residential or professional/commercial use. We work closely with our clients, discussing each phase and evaluating every choice.

In comprehensive projects, we manage and oversee the construction process from start to finish, although there is also the possibility of excluding it and only commissioning the design.

In decoration projects, our goal is to surprise in every room using different decorative elements. The idea is to leave each space as if it were ready for a photoshoot.
