All custom-made furniture and a decoration in earth tones
Project
Strada Interiors – Laura Strada
In this vacation residence, interior design has been fully personalized with designs in wood and white tailored for each environment. We have created a contemporary setting where elegance merges with functionality.
“The functional beauty influences the quality of life and daily well-being.” This concept has been central to the project since the clients first contacted the team to design custom furniture for their second residence. The clients wanted a serene and functional environment, harmonizing with the current and clean architecture of the house.
From the outset, we immersed ourselves in a meticulous process, prioritizing functionality over purely ornamental details. As in nearly all projects, the furniture layout in each room was crucial to achieving a cozy and practical atmosphere. The first step was selecting a palette of colors and textures that would define the personality of the spaces: “Our focus was on elegant simplicity, using natural materials under a range of neutral tones that always offer a sense of timeless serenity,” they explain from the studio.
Functional and Warm Beauty through Custom-Made Furniture
The natural wood of the custom-designed furniture was undoubtedly one of the great successes of our decoration project, enhancing warmth in spaces where gray ceramic flooring could seem somewhat cold. The kitchen, bathrooms, youth bedroom, and even study areas feature pieces in honey-colored wood with very refined designs. Additionally, lattice designs were used to enrich the entire interior design project: the dining room sideboard, bedside tables, and even the television front feature vertical wooden slats that personalize, unify the whole set, and create a sense of greater height.
Textures and Color Palette
Another key aspect of the decoration was the textures and the color palette chosen for each room. Upholsteries and cushions, along with striking paintings placed on the furniture, provide a chromatic contrast in neutral environments where order and elegant symmetry govern the entire project.
