Strada Interiors – Laura Strada

In the old and emblematic Corsini Square in Tarragona, an innovative store concept was born: a gastronomic tavern designed to captivate, Taberna Barmut. This space merges the essence of a bar with the refinement of a restaurant, emphasizing the signature cuisine that stand out for its quality, creativity, and the commitment to work with local products.

With a bold and colourful image, Barmut is inspired by the traditional taverns but offering a different experience. Distributed over two floors, the design integrates harmoniously with its surroundings.

On the ground floor, a dynamic space featured custom-made furniture with an elegant marble bar, combining wooden slats in different formats. High tables on the walls create continuity and personality, wich creates a cozy atmosphere.

The first floor creates a more private and intimate ambience with the use of hanging lamps. They are combined in different colours and vegetal textures that add warmth and personality. The bare brick walls are exposed and are combined with two illuminated wooden benches.

The carefully chosen selection of materials highlights the contrast between wood, marble, iron, and vegetal textures, reflecting the diversity in our design. Not only from the space but the gastronomical variety of the restaurant. A unique atmosphere that merges tradition and modernity in every corner of the space.
