At Strada Interiors, we took on the transformation of this duplex in Valls (Tarragona), with a strong focus on the needs of a couple expecting their first child. They wanted to refresh their home without major construction work or extended timelines. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We chose a <strong>Japandi<\/strong> aesthetic\u2014an elegant blend of Japanese minimalism and Scandinavian warmth. This is expressed through the use of <strong>natural materials<\/strong> such as wood, linen, and raffia, along with a <strong>neutral and warm color palette<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A Living Room with Slatted Dividers that Define Spaces<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the living room, we created a welcoming atmosphere through suspended volumes and framed wooden textures. Wooden <g id=\"gid_0\">slatted dividers<\/g> subtly separate the different zones while maintaining an open, spacious feel. <strong>Black slats on the walls<\/strong> add visual rhythm and continue into the bedroom, creating a sense of flow.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The look is completed with <strong>jute rugs<\/strong>, a <strong>white sofa<\/strong> with linen cushions and throws, and <strong>black iron side tables<\/strong> for contrast. We also designed a custom <strong>dining table <\/strong>and a <strong>bench with built-in storage<\/strong>, maximizing functionality. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Lu Ink\u2019s artwork<\/strong> adds a personal and artistic touch to the space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A Practical Kitchen with a Dining Area<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although the kitchen intervention was minimal, we enhanced its character by <strong>adding mustard accents<\/strong> against the existing black base. Thanks to its <g id=\"gid_1\">generous layout<\/g>, we were able to include an informal dining nook featuring a custom-designed bench and radiator cover in light wood. Vibrant cushions bring freshness and personality.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A Bedroom in Harmony with the Rest of the Home<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The master bedroom and walk-in closet follow the same cohesive design language. We created a <g id=\"gid_0\">headboard with asymmetrical slatted woodwork<\/g> and <g id=\"gid_1\">custom oak furniture\u2014floating<\/g> nightstands and a dresser with natural knots that echo the Japandi style. <strong>Linen fabrics<\/strong> and<strong> raffia rugs<\/strong> enhance the serene and refined ambiance.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the walk-in closet, we added a <strong>small, functional desk<\/strong> and <strong>mirrored doors at the back<\/strong> to expand the visual space and increase light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A Home Designed to Be Lived In<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Every corner of this home was conceived to radiate peace, balance, and functionality. From the <g id=\"gid_0\">entryway mirror with built-in drawers<\/g>\u2014simple yet full of depth\u2014to the careful selection of natural materials, this project reflects our commitment to warm, timeless aesthetics.
